Ferdinand Giese

  • Born: Abt 1857, Groß Rakitt, Stolp, Pommern
  • Marriage: Caroline Höft in 1878 in Pottangow, Stolp, Pommern

  General Notes:

From the Emma Loll letters: This is the letter writer's husband. May or may not be the Ferdinand mentioned as "Uncle Ferdinand" by Teresa Pick in letter of May 1, 1894 from Groß-Rakitt.

Uncle Ferdinand is Teresa Pick's uncle that lost most of sheep, lambs and all of his horses in a big fire in the "ecke" area of Groß-Rakitt. Along with Ferdinand, others who lost livestock and homes were "teacher Otto Rohn" and "farmer Damaschke". This Damaschke is probably the father/uncle of Henry Loll's second wife, Caroline.

Ferdinand married Caroline Höft in 1878 in Pottangow, Stolp, Pommern. (Caroline Höft was born on 1 Dec 1856 in Pommern.)
